Heath Banks serves as Chief Operating Officer for Leftfield Pictures.

In his role, Heath oversees all aspects of production operations for Leftfield, including current series, specials, pilots and development.

Prior to joining Leftfield, Heath served as Senior Vice President of Production for Pilgrim Studios where he worked for eight years. While there, he produced Discovery’s long-running hit Dirty Jobs, for which he earned an Emmy nomination in 2008, and he was integral to the development of History’s hit show Top Shot, among other series. During his time at Pilgrim, Heath helped to create and implement efficiency systems that enabled the company to more than double in size.

Heath began his career in film. He worked as a coordinator and unit production manager on a wide range of big-budget studio and independent films, including X-Men; Love and Basketball; Anger Management; Hollywood Homicide; Win A Date With Tad Hamilton; When Do We Eat; and Their Eyes Were Watching God. His first film job was working on the 1998 MGM feature The Mod Squad.

Heath holds a B.A. in Radio/Television/Film from the University of North Texas.
